2000 The Group becomes a subsidiary of Fraser and Neave, Limited
2000 The Group opens Times Newslink, the largest bookshop at Singapore Changi International Airport, in a joint venture with Newslink of Australia
2001 The largest-ever Times The Bookshop retail outlet is opened at Bangsar, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia
2001 Shanghai Times SanYin Printers Co., Ltd is established; it is the first and largest Sino-foreign joint venture printing company in China
2001 Argyle Times Graphics is acquired, making it the Group's first printing plant in Australia
2002 TransQuest, a book distributor in Southeast Asia, is acquired to increase the Group's market share in book distribution
2002 The Group acquires Everbest Printing Holdings Limited, which provides commercial printing services from its base in Guangzhou, China
2002 Vine Graphics is acquired to support the Group's expansion into packaging and printing
2004 The Group invests in Fung Choi Printing and Packaging plant in China
2004 The Group establishes the Shanxi Xinhua Times Printing & Packaging plant in China
2004 Times Newslink acquires the WH Smith retail business in Singapore
2004 The Group's distribution capability is strengthened with the acquisition of Pansing Distribution in Singapore and Malaysia
2004 Marshall Cavendish launches the new corporate brand identity
2005 Educational Technologies Limited is acquired for the publishing, licensing and distribution of educational and children's publications in Latin America, Asia Pacific and the Gulf region
2005 Pansing IMM Pty Limited is formed for the export distribution of Australian magazines, books and periodicals
2005 The Group donates 96 paintings, named Times Collections to National Heritage Board.
2005 The Group acquires the publishing business of SNP in Singapore, Malaysia and Hong Kong. The acquisition is for the publishing of educational books and reference materials.
2006 The Group acquires Pacific Bookstores
2007 The Group diverts its interest in Times Printers (Australian) Pty Ltd. and acquires interest in PMP Limited
2007 The Group acquires Starprint Production Pte Ltd. to complement its existing printing business
2007 Fraser and Neave, Limited appoints Mr Lee Hsien Yang as non-executive director and Chairman-Designate
